SUMMER 2016

Hydro Fly 9.5 became a successful boat thanks to the work of Olivier MEYRAN, architect naval designer. The next step is to find a buyer to start manufacturing a first Hydro Fly 9.5 !

Inspired by the work of the students of the ENSAM and ECE engeneering schools and the 1:10 scale model produced by the Hydro Fly association, Olivier MEYRAN carried out all the plans of the new version

YEAR 2015

The boat "Hydro Fly communication"

At the beginning of 2015, the Hydro Fly association studied how to promote Hydro Fly 9.5 outside of social networks and on local level. To develop the territory of the upper Gironde where the Hydro Fly originated was essential. Also, the association decided on a opportunity to acquire a boat in the state of wreck but with drawing in the spirit Hydro Fly. A complete restoration by the team has made this boat a real high-end communication tool.

Acquisition of the prototype Hydro Fly and its model by the future museum of the sea and the navy in Bordeaux which will open its doors in 2018 !

MAY 2015

An acknowledgment to posterity and a valorization of a french know-how in its cradle of the high Gironde. All the partners who supported the project will a the same time be valued by their support. Their name and the name of the donors remain publicized on the fairing of the Hydro Fly

SECOND SEMESTER 2014

Thanks to the work of the students of the ENSAM and the ECE of Bordeaux, the association Hydro Fly made a compilation of the different drawings proposed by the engineering students. The final drawings realized by Jean-Philippe BELLOT were also inspired by the expectations of potential customers as seen from the market studies conducted by the students of the european business school.

The team then proceeded to its development and a small video film visible on the homepage !

Born an idea that seemed unrealizable, Jean-Philippe BELLOT and Philippe BRUDIEUX invented the very first model of the Hydro Fly. One Year was necessary for the development before the challenge to realize the same boat at scale 1...
